THE SEASIDE

On the way home from Nana and Grandad's, we stopped at Mokau beach for lunch. It was fantastic. The waves were really loud and the water was really cold. It all made me laugh. I didn't sit on my blanket for long though, I had to roll off to check out what sand is really like. It doesn't taste that great but its lots of fun. I got sand everywhere - in my ears and my hair and under my clothes!

MY GREAT NANA

This is my Great Nana. I went to visit her while I was staying with my Nana and Grandad in Hawera. Great Nana gives me lots of cuddles and smiles and tells me stories. I like making her walker move and sitting in the sun by her door looking at all the pretty flowers outside. I tell her lots of stories too.

GRANDMA'S HOUSE

I have been teaching Grandma how to put the stacking rings on their stand and how to put the pople in the bus. It is very serious work but she's a pretty quick learner. We are having lots of fun playing together. Grandma looks after us all really well.

Uncle Hamish and Aunty Faith came to visit us too. Little Kitty (Grandma's pussy cat) and I got to have cuddles with Uncle Hamish. We both squished in next to him on the chair and played some cool games. Then Aunty Faith read me stories and I let her play with my Wheels on the Bus. Someone should tell Santa that she would like one just like it for christmas!

On Tuesday Mum and Grandma and I went swimming. We had SO much fun. I just love being in the pool. There is so much to look at!

MY FRIEND JESSICA AND THE MUMS

My friend Jessica came to play with me at Grandma's house. I told her lots of stories and gave her lots of smiles because she's pretty cool. We are already starting to talk as much as our Mum's do. Our Dad's think this is fantastic!
Aunty Sarah has got a new friend for both of us too but we don't get to meet this wee person until June. By then we'll have heaps of new tricks to teach.

GREAT GRANDAD SID IS 90!

On Sunday we went to Great Sid's 90th birthday party. All of these people are Great Sid's people - and my people too. My 'Senior' Uncle Brian is holding me. He is next to 'Senior' Uncle John and that lovely lady in pink, is my cool Grandma! Great Gran and Great Sid are in the middle. At the bottom is my second cousin Michael, my Dad and my Uncle Andrew and Uncle Hamish. Cool huh!









My Aunty Catherine was there too - she thinks i am pretty cool because I can put my feet in my mouth and she can't. I think she just needs to practise some more. Aunty Catherine and Uncle Andrew are going overseas for a really, really big holiday soon but I will see them when I am a big girl.

Grandma and I play games together. We have lots of fun. My Grandma is very proud of me. She took me round to see all my rely's. I've got lots and lots!

MY DAD AND ME

My Dad gave me a little flower when we were sitting on the grass together. It was beautiful.

When Dad comes in the room I give him my best smile so that he knows I think he's pretty cool. He reads me stories and plays hide and seek games with me and takes me for walks to see cool things like cows. I love my Dad and I'm pretty sure that he loves me too!
