NOW WE'RE AT GRANDMA'S

Now we're at Grandma's and we're having lots more great adventures and a whole lot of fun too. Yesterday we went to the Esplanade and had a hot chocolate at the cafe, played on the playground and rode on the little train. Wow - we had a fantastic time.

VISITING NANA AND GRANDAD

We are all having so much fun staying with Nana and Grandad. We have spent lots of time with Bradley and Jack too. This is Kate and Bradley playing fire fighters, Kate dressing up as a fairy butterfly and Sam and Bradley in the bath.

WINGS AND FACE PAINT

Today at play center I got my face painted like a butterfly. It was pink and gold with sparkles. When I got home I used one of Mum's scarves and got her to help me make it into wings. I wore them both all day. I could fly all around the house. I even went to town dressed like this and told the kids I saw that I was a butterfly.

Maybe crawling isn't THAT over rated after all

Today Mum was vacuuming and I really wanted to catch up to that vacuum cleaner to have a look at it and to use it to stand up on. So I used this one straight leg, one bent knee and two hands technique. The only thing I like about this game is that I can move to something to pull myself up on and walk from there, and I generally grizzle the whole way, just so everyone understands that I would much rather be on my feet. If there is an adult around I much prefer to demand that they give me a lift up instead. I am not silly and know all about the short cuts to getting where I want to be. I can also use this technique to get up the stairs, except I don't use knees, just two hands and two feet.
