Lachie and his wrap all snuggled up in bed.
Today was daddy's birthday and the sun was out, so to celebrate we went to the A&P show in Winton. We sat in the tractors and on the motorbikes, visited all of the animals and went on some rides.
Jumping on the trampolines with harnesses and springs was great fun.
This is a donkey just like the one in our favourite book "winky wonky donkey". Lachie particularly loved visiting all of the animals.
Later on Uncle Andrew and Emma met up with us to ride on the ponies. Cool! 
We even got our photo taken wih the shield! 
Sammy and Dad waited in line for over 40minutes to get on this car. We're not sure who loved it more. 
When we got home we had birthday dinner and birthday cake. What a fantastic day!!
The rest of the day was spent on the swings. Emma did have a wee sleep though and thats when a couple of dogs and a cat came to visit our house,
We went to MacDonald's for a special birthday lunch treat. Lachie thought it was fantastic! Although the playground was definitly the highlight for everyone. 
Afterwards the boys had a sleep and Kate spent some time riding her bike and climbing a tree. 
When the boys got up Mum tried to get a photo of them, and in particular Lachie in his birthday jersey. But this was as good as she could do. The boys had ants in their pants.
It was warm in Invercargill today and we were able to get outside. This is a litle of what Sam got up to. If you look very closely,you can find Kate in amongst the bottom branches of the tree too.
On Sunday, we had a wee birthday party for Lachie. Uncle Andrew, Aunty Catherine, Emma and Max came to help us celebrate. We had Lachie's favourite jelly cake. We all had fun although Mum and dad forgot to take lots of pictures.
Mum gave Lachie this amazing toy (a bottle that you put pegs into). It is his favourite game.
When we got home to Invercargill Mum and Dad had a christmas present for each of us. Sammy loves his Cranky Crane and Kate says her two wheel bike is "the best present ever", Lachie thinks ripping the paper was the best part of the whole event. We also got this very cool tractor from Nana and Grandad. Wow! We are lucky kids. Thanks Mum and Dad, and Nana and Grandad too.
