Lachie is now over 7 months old and he thinks life is pretty exciting really...

Eating,

Sitting up,

and playing with Kate.

Grandma has also been to visit. We all had the best time. Grandma is a groovy member of the band.

FUNKY FRIDAY

Today was Funky Friday at Kindy and all the kids got dressed up. Kate went as a lion... very unusual we all thought. Here she is all ready to go.

Mummy and Lachie have been to Hamilton to visit Aunty Sarah, Uncle Shane and Mackenzie, and to meet their new baby Alex. Mackenzie is a lovely big sister and she looked after Lachie really well.

Aunty Faith and James came to visit them in Hamilton too and gave Mummy a birthday present to bring home to Kate. She loves her Lion King towel and Zebra top.

Aunty Sarah, Uncle Shane, Mackenzie and Alex had a birthday present for Kate too. She has worn her new lion dress up mane and tail since the moment she opened it. It has been slept in and been to Kindy too.

Thank you everyone for your thoughtful presents, they have certainly been a hit!

KATE AND SAM

Last night Sam lined everyone up and asked for mum to take his picture with his friends!

NEW TRICKS AND SMILES AGAIN AT LAST

Lachie is learning to sit up all by himself now. He thinks its a great game. He has also got big smiles again now that he is feeling much better after a very nasty dose of the chicken pox.

Sammy was just plum tuckered out.

KATE'S 4th BIRTHDAY

Kate got a special walking toy dog for her birthday. She calls her Billy. She also had a dog birthday cake.

Billy especially likes to ride in Kate's backpack while Kate goes on her scooter.

Sammy put on his hat to go outside with Kate too.

Happy Birthday to Kate. It has been a fantastic day for everybody. Thank you to everybody for their birthday wishes, calls, cards and presents. xxx

Kate has been practising her ballet and gymnastics this week.

On the way to meet Nana and Grandad at the airport in Invercargill. A very very exciting night!
