On the way home from Nana and Grandad's, we stopped at Mokau beach for lunch. It was fantastic. The waves were really loud and the water was really cold. It all made me laugh. I didn't sit on my blanket for long though, I had to roll off to check out what sand is really like. It doesn't taste that great but its lots of fun. I got sand everywhere - in my ears and my hair and under my clothes!

Yay for Katie at the beach - I like Mokau beach too it is a good place to stop for a break!! The balck sand gets very hot tho a?? You look like a surfie girl at the beach!! Bet the sea was fun, i enjoyed a wee splash too in gisborne. very cold on my feet though!!!
