LOUNGING ON THE COUCH

Sometimes I like to sit on the couch like Mum and Dad and Jessie. Not for too long tho because the couch is also good for climbing up and around. My Dad and I play lots of games on them too. Dad hides beside the couch and i find him by peering over the arm rest. Sitting on the couch is also a good place to practise clapping my hands.

Yesterday we found a big parcel at the front door. It was from my Uncle David and Aunty Jamie, who live all the way over in Ireland. And it was a birthday present for me. Thank you Uncle David and Aunty Jamie. I love my rocking puppy. My Dad has been teaching me how to use it. It is so much fun.

BON VOYAGE GRANDMA

Today we went to Auckland Airport to say farewell to Grandma. She is off to Ireland to see my Uncle David, Aunty Jamie, Uncle Andrew and Aunty Catherine. It was very exciting. We had a yummy morning tea together, read stories together, went for walks together and I even helped Grandma check in by pushing her baggage cart up to the departure gate. Grandma also bought me some birthday presents because i'm going to be one very soon. I got some books, a wiggles dvd and a special dolls house for very little girls. I am very spoilt.

BRADLEY CAME TO VISIT

Yesterday Bradley and My Aunty and Uncle came to visit us all. Bradley helped me zoom around on my bike by pushing me around corners, across the bumpy grass and up the steep hill. Inside, we kept busy playing with each other and the toys. After our dinner, we even had a bath together! Bradley can make the biggest splashes. HANGING OUT WITH MY DAD

Dad and I couldn't do any projects today because it was too cold and yucky. So we hung out together inside. We had lots of cuddles and read books and played with toys. It was just as good. Later I went to visit my friend Samantha. She has a cool rocking horse which I thought was pretty neat.

BOOKS, BOOKS AND MORE BOOKS

Mum and Dad thought they could get away with just reading one or two stories at night by letting me look at books by myself first but I am too clever for that. Now I hold out my favourite stories, to let Mum and Dad know that I would like to listen to them - I do this A LOT. Today Mum was trying to take my picture but I was too busy pulling my books out of the toy box and reading them.

AN INSIDE DAY

Yesterday was a cold, wet and windy day so Mum, Jessie and I stayed snuggled up inside. We had lots of fun though. I helped Mum hang the washing up to dry, played with a balloon and followed Jessie around all day.

HELPING IS HARD WORK

On the weekends I like to go outside and help my Dad with his projects. Dirt is fun! Afterwards Dad takes me out on my bike and we look at the cows and visit the dogs who live next door (cows and dogs are so cool). But all this work is exhausting, and afterwards I like to curl up on the bean bag with Casey (my blankie) and have a little rest.

DINNER TIME

I am practising very hard at using a fork to eat my dinner with. Mum and Dad use one and i've had some turns with theirs but their forks are very big. This one is just the right size for me. I can get the food in my mouth once its on the fork - its getting it on thats the tricky part!

JESS AND I

I love Jessie and Jessie loves me too. I try very hard to use gentle open hands when I want to touch her and Jessie is very patient. She snuggles up to me if I sit still, comes outside with me when i'm on my bike or going for a walk - she comes everywhere with Mum and I.
Last night Jessie came to visit me in my bed. My blankets are warm and snuggly and she likes to curl up at the end of the cot. In the middle of the night, Mum could hear me talking to someone and when she spied on me from the door I was sitting up in bed next to Jess. Later on when Mum came back to check on us we were cosily asleep next to each other. I think Mum was jealous that Jessie wanted to sleep with me because she took her away but thats ok because i've already had more cuddles from Jess today.

FASTER, FASTER, FASTER!

I love to ride my bike outside, especially down the driveway. Mum or Dad run down behind me to try and slow me down but I move my feet so i can go even faster. It is so exciting!!! Jessie has to come too and she can beat us all down the driveway. I can also come outside on my bike and help my Dad in the garden and my Mum hang the washing out and to see the cows in the paddock and... My bike is the best.
