Today we went to Auckland Airport to say farewell to Grandma. She is off to Ireland to see my Uncle David, Aunty Jamie, Uncle Andrew and Aunty Catherine. It was very exciting. We had a yummy morning tea together, read stories together, went for walks together and I even helped Grandma check in by pushing her baggage cart up to the departure gate. Grandma also bought me some birthday presents because i'm going to be one very soon. I got some books, a wiggles dvd and a special dolls house for very little girls. I am very spoilt.
Have fun grandma! we will see you when you get home.

Wow...that looked like heaps of fun Katie!! You look very busy at the airport!! Your Grandma is very brave jet setting around the world!! Cant wait to see you Wiggles DVD - we can do some dancing!! You have been spoilt by the sounds of it!! It is nearly your birthday and I can't wait as I am coming to party with you in the day!!

I'm here in Ireland Katie. What a long journey but Uncle David was here at Cork to meet me and I had flowers in my bedroom so was made to feel very welcome.It was sop good to see you at the airport ands thank you for you help and cuddles. I know you will have a happy birthday and we will be celebrating it in Ireland too!!!See you when I get home. Love Grandma
