Jessie and I know how to be sun smart. We hide under the umbrella when we're in the paddling pool or hanging out on the lawn. Jessie especially loves the umbrella because it is very warm and sheltered underneath it.
I like to run to the door to see my Dad when he comes home at night. I give him a big hug and a kiss. Today I knew Mum was behind me so I gave her a big smile too!
Last weekend when Mum was playing with the very scary vacuum cleaner, Dad and I snuggled back into bed with Jessie and read some books. It was fantastic.
These are the sunglasses that santa gave me for christmas. I don't like to wear them for more than a few minutes at a time but i do think they're pretty cool.
Today was Daddy's birthday. Mummy and I made him a rugby ball chocolate cake and after dinner I helped Dad blow out those candles. I am getting the hang of it and I love singing "Happy birthday to you" and clapping at the end.
This afternoon it was lovely and warm and I had two swims in the paddling pool. One while Mummy watched and one while daddy watched. I didn't want to get out either time. It is a lot of fun. You can even make cups of tea when you are swimming!

This morning Mum, Baby Bethany and I had a tea party in the lovely Invercargill sunshine. It was fantastic. There was water everywhere - Nana will be so jealous she missed it. Nana just loves to play with water.
Daddy flew to Taranaki to meet us for christmas and we all spent Christmas day with Nana and Grandad, Great Nana, Aunty Susan and Bradley. It was such a lovely day that everyone forgot to take pictures. we were all ver spoilt and got lots of lovely things. Bradley got this cool table and chairs for christmas and I got the tea set on it - I love making cups of tea for everyone.
The next day, Mummy, Daddy and I drove to Palmerston North to see my Grandma and Uncle Hamish, Aunty Faith, Uncle David and Aunty Jamie. We had a lovely time staying there, even though I got a really sore tummy and was sick and a bit grumpy for most of the time. Grandma is really clever. She made me a winnie the Pooh duvet and a mattress and sheets for the dolls cot she gave me for Christmas. It is really cool. We spent heaps of time building up towers and knocking them down again, and having swings and slides at the park around the corner. On New Years Day, we went back to Nana and Grandad's in Hawera, and I saw Bradley again - YAH! We were all very sad to leave there on Thursday to go back to the 'butterfly house' we live in, in Invercargill. Thank you to everyone, for looking after us so well. We love you xxx
