SUNSMART GIRLS

Jessie and I know how to be sun smart. We hide under the umbrella when we're in the paddling pool or hanging out on the lawn. Jessie especially loves the umbrella because it is very warm and sheltered underneath it.

MY DAD

I like to run to the door to see my Dad when he comes home at night. I give him a big hug and a kiss. Today I knew Mum was behind me so I gave her a big smile too!

BIG BEDS AND SUNGLASSES

Last weekend when Mum was playing with the very scary vacuum cleaner, Dad and I snuggled back into bed with Jessie and read some books. It was fantastic.
These are the sunglasses that santa gave me for christmas. I don't like to wear them for more than a few minutes at a time but i do think they're pretty cool.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO DAD

Today was Daddy's birthday. Mummy and I made him a rugby ball chocolate cake and after dinner I helped Dad blow out those candles. I am getting the hang of it and I love singing "Happy birthday to you" and clapping at the end.

MORE INVERCARGILL SUNSHINE

This afternoon it was lovely and warm and I had two swims in the paddling pool. One while Mummy watched and one while daddy watched. I didn't want to get out either time. It is a lot of fun. You can even make cups of tea when you are swimming!

WOULD YOU LIKE A CUP OF TEA?

This morning Mum, Baby Bethany and I had a tea party in the lovely Invercargill sunshine. It was fantastic. There was water everywhere - Nana will be so jealous she missed it. Nana just loves to play with water.

OUR BIG CHRISTMAS ADVENTURES - PART TWO

Daddy flew to Taranaki to meet us for christmas and we all spent Christmas day with Nana and Grandad, Great Nana, Aunty Susan and Bradley. It was such a lovely day that everyone forgot to take pictures. we were all ver spoilt and got lots of lovely things. Bradley got this cool table and chairs for christmas and I got the tea set on it - I love making cups of tea for everyone.

The next day, Mummy, Daddy and I drove to Palmerston North to see my Grandma and Uncle Hamish, Aunty Faith, Uncle David and Aunty Jamie. We had a lovely time staying there, even though I got a really sore tummy and was sick and a bit grumpy for most of the time. Grandma is really clever. She made me a winnie the Pooh duvet and a mattress and sheets for the dolls cot she gave me for Christmas. It is really cool. We spent heaps of time building up towers and knocking them down again, and having swings and slides at the park around the corner.

On New Years Day, we went back to Nana and Grandad's in Hawera, and I saw Bradley again - YAH! We were all very sad to leave there on Thursday to go back to the 'butterfly house' we live in, in Invercargill. Thank you to everyone, for looking after us so well. We love you xxx

OUR BIG CHRISTMAS ADVENTURES - PART ONE

I have been to all my favourite places and seen so all of my favourite people over christmas. It has been a BIG adventure.
First of all Mummy and I flew to Hamilton to see my friend MacKenzie. She is lots of fun. We giggle together whenever we can - in the bath, in the car, when we play... It was a special weekend for her as she was getting baptised. She looked very beautiful on the day and it was lovely for us to be with her. This is my Mummy and MacKenzie when it was all over. It was a very big day for everyone.

Then we flew to Taranaki to see Nana and Grandad - It was Nana's birthay. We had dinner at Aunty Susan's - and I got to play with Bradley!!! He is the best.
I get very, very excited when I know I am going to see him and luckily we got to play together lot while we stayed with Nana and Grandad. We especially, love to have races outside on the bikes,

and go for a walk in the paddock behind Nana and Grandad's house. We even got to pat a cow, when we went with Grandad. Yah! When we go walking with Nana, we like to collect little bits of wood and make boats to float on the river.
