Today was Daddy's birthday. Mummy and I made him a rugby ball chocolate cake and after dinner I helped Dad blow out those candles. I am getting the hang of it and I love singing "Happy birthday to you" and clapping at the end.

What a great cake you and Mum have made for Dad and great help with blowing out the candles too. I liked the pictures of you swimming in the Invercargill sunshine and making a cup of tea too. I hope you will make me a cup of tea when I come in March and maybe if the weather is good we can have a swim too!!!! The weather is nnot nice in Palmerston North at the moment but there have been some nice days. I must get on and make some clothes for baby!!! Love Grandma
